LAMOTRIGINE AS AN ADJUNCT TO ANTIPSYCHOTIC MEDICATION
Lamotrigine, used as an adjunct to either conventional or atypical antipsychotic medication, may improve positive symptoms and general psychopathology in patients with treatment-resistant schizophrenia.

Product Safety Information: (1) The abuse of dextromethorphan (DXM) is the subject of a warning issued by the FDA; (2) New warnings have been added to the labeling of Trileptal (oxcarbazepine); (3) Cylert (pemoline) has been discontinued; (4) Paxil CR (paroxetine hydrochloride controlled release) and Avandamet (rosiglitazone maleate / metformin hydrochloride) are expected to become available again by mid-2005.
