“WHITE-COAT EFFECT” BLOOD PRESSURE ELEVATION
People who experience increases in blood pressure due to “white-coat effect” may also experience increased blood pressure in response to normal physical activity. This blood pressure variability may pose a health risk.

WHEN COGNITIVE-BEHAVIORAL THERAPY OF BULIMIA NERVOSA IS UNSUCCESSFUL
Among patients with bulimia nervosa, those for whom cognitive-behavioral therapy is unsuccessful are found to be unlikely to benefit from switching to either interpersonal psychotherapy or to pharmacotherapy.
