DEPRESSION
Patients with major depression are found to often have at least one comorbid disorder.

The use of antipsychotic medication, overall, is found to be associated with diabetes mellitus. Higher rates of diabetes mellitus are found to occur in association with atypical antipsychotics than with typical antipsychotics.

Product Safety Information: The labeling for Geodon (ziprasidone) has been changed in order to clarify which drugs are contraindicated with Geodon due to the risk of QT prolongation and the risk of sudden death.
